E08 - The Fugitive
Dr. Tenma returns to work at the hospital in Dusseldorf. Meanwhile, Lunge questions Eva, now a three-time divorcee, about the necktie he found at the murder scene, but she denies ever seeing it. Eva then pleads with Dr. Tenma to take her back, but he refuses and Eva threatens to turn him over to Inspector Lunge as she gave the necktie to Dr. Tenma years earlier. With the police on his tail, Dr. Tenma is forced to flee and he recalls the events that have led to his current situation. Five months later, Dr. Tenma learns that an elderly couple were killed in Verden and that he is the main suspect.
